Street Sign Toppers

The UPCCA is selling custom designed and made street sign toppers as a project to help establish the boundaries of Peachtree Corners and to create a sense of community. Gwinnett County Dept of Transportation will install the toppers for us at no charge.

Sign Topper Unveiling Ceremony - April 24, 2007

UPCCA has funds to buy the toppers for the main Peachtree Corners thoroughfares – Peachtree Parkway, Holcomb Bridge Road, etc. We are hoping that subdivision homeowner associations and individuals will buy the toppers for the side streets.

To get the design for the toppers the UPCCA Board of Directors worked with the Norcross High School Honorary Art Society and had a contest. Junior Tracy Rodriquez created the winning design concept. She was presented a framed certificate and $50 at the Norcross HS Honors Night. Then graphic designer Steve Chininis who lives in North River Crossing fine-tuned the design and got it ready for the sign maker – Sign A Rama in the Interlochen Shopping Center.

Only Gwinnett DOT can install the toppers. No toppers can be installed by individuals.
