In preparation for the Primary Election on July 15, candidates in contested races for Gwinnett County Commission Chair, U.S. Senate, and GA Senate District 40 have been invited to speak.

2008 Corners to Crossing 10K Road Race Results

The 2008 Corners to Crossing 10K, a qualifying race, was held on April 19th, 2008. Norcross Neighbors and the United Peachtree Corners Civic Association want to thank all participants as well as out valued sponsors for being a part of the event. The run was from Peachtree Corners to Historic Norcross and attracted serious competitive racers as well as enthusiastic weekend runners and walkers. This inaugural event received over 650 entries.

The proceeds from this race supported the Robert D. Fowler Family YMCA and other local charities including the Norcross Cooperative Ministry, Summerour Middle School Foundation, and the Gwinnett Autism Society.

The overall winner of the race was John Kirksey of North Manor with a time of 38:08 on a hilly course.

Bucky Johnson, the new Mayor of Norcross will be discussing what is happening in the City of Norcross.

Also Sen. Curt Thompson, Sen. Dan Weber, and Rep. Tom Rice have been invited to speak about this year's legislative session
